Our outreach team is responsible for supporting both organization and community services and events. We assist adults 60 and over with their needs, providing them with resources, and facilitating lifestyle programs.
Licking County Aging Partners (LCAP) Outreach Services are here to assist you. We invite you to come visit Heritage Hall, our central location at 1058 East Main Street in Newark.
LCAP encourages adults 60 and over to join one of the many activities, clubs, seminars, musical entertainment events, and exercise programs held regularly. Community Safe Senior Project
The Safe Senior Project is an ongoing partnership between Licking County Aging Partners, the Red Cross, the State Fire Marshal’s Fire Safety Educators, and your local fire departments. With education, resources, and community support, this collaboration has raised awareness about what safety hazards exist in a home and what we can do to prevent an emergency before it occurs. We were the pilot program for Ohio, which has spread to other counties with a significant impact.
If you are interested in participating, we have a survey link below and a printable option as well. Please fill out a survey if you are interested in a smoke detector installation, a home safety visit, or fire escape route planning.
Together our agencies will categorize, prioritize, and schedule visits to your home based on what you report and the availability of supplies.
Everything you report will be confidential, as our goal is to be a part of the solution to keep you well and safe. A community is stronger when it works together. We will only allow trusted representatives from either the Red Cross, LCAP, the Fire Marshals, or your local fire department come into your home and assist you with this home safety project!
