    • June 24, 2016 – Freedom Picnic
      11:00 am

      It is time to celebrate America’s 240th birthday at our annual Freedom Picnic at 11 a.m. Friday, June 24th in the banquet room. We will feature traditional picnic food. The musical program is entitled “Coast to Coast” featuring Bob Piascik and promises to be fantastic. The picnic also will feature a 50-50 and door prizes. We are pleased to announce that Newark Memorial Gardens is sponsoring the Freedom Picnic. Tickets are $2 or $1 depending on your seating preference and will go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday, May 2 and remain on sale while they last through 5 p.m. Friday, June 10th.

WISE Program

The “WISE” Program returns for another eight-class session. The acronym stands for Wellness Initiative for Senior Education. It focuses on changes that are associated with aging and on enhancing the quality of aging life. The classes generally are two hours over a period of eight weeks.
