      5:30 pm

      Tickets on sale starting 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 25th for the Spring Dinner and Dance that will be held 5:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday, May 5th with a Kentucky Derby theme. Great meal with entertainment by Brian Oaks and Heartland Express. Tickets are $7 or $8 depending on your seating preference.

      The Senior Living Expo is Thursday, May 19th from 9 a.m. until noon at the Reese Center of the OSU/COTC campus on University Drive. It is sponsored by LCAP, Licking County Task Force on Aging and Lifelong Learning Institute. It features many booths and resources geared to enhancing senior life. Entertainment and door prizes.

    • May 26, 2016 – WISE Program
      2:00 pm

      WISE stands for Wellness Initiative for Senior Education. It is a free, 8-week program to enhance your aging years. First class is 2-4 p.m. Thursday, May 26th and each succeeding Thursday. Classes designed to enhance aging life. Reservations requested by calling 740-345-0821 Ext. 234 by Thursday, May 19th.

Asian Stir Fry Stirs Up Appetites

The final installment in the current cooking class occurred Wednesday, April 27th. About a dozen senior students attended and gave their noses and appetites a treat. The smell of delicious Asian Stir Fry was throughout the building. Thanks to Janis Clark for instructing the classes and Marti Fuller for being a steady hand as cook!

A Garden In a Basket

Seniors made garden baskets at Heritage Hall Senior Center this week. Over 30 seniors, men and women, signed up for the fun class. C-TEC instructor Lori Swihart and Lindsay Grimm of Licking County Recycling taught the class. C-TEC donated all the flowers and plants used in the project.
