In addition to ongoing training within each department, all LCAP employees are required to attend an all-day training once a year to stay up-to-date on a variety of topics. On Friday, our staff listened to presentations on fire safety, the drug-free workplace, diversity and inclusion, mental health, and customer service. We are grateful to our employees for all that they do to keep themselves informed to better serve our clients.

As the world changes and evolves so much, the ways in which we package our food must as well.
We are all too aware of the damage being done to our planet by non-sustainable food packaging, like plastic and aluminum, which is why we are delighted to announce we will be using fully compostable meal trays.
Compostable packaging requires less carbon to produce, provides the earth with life promoting nutrients. Another benefit of eco-friendly products is that compostable paper does not take up room in landfills as other biodegradable and non biodegradable products do. Instead, it can be cleaned and dropped into your recycle bin or composted at home.
Food service requires lot of energy and water. It also generates a huge amount of waste; help us do our part in reducing our environmental impact for this generation and future generations.
We ask you to join us on Wednesday, November 10th, 11:00 - 1:00 PM and help express gratitude to our veterans. We will also serve a delicious meal to those in attendance.
For the safety of our guests and staff, attendance will be limited to the first 150 registrants and tickets are on sale now. Registration is $5/person, but veterans receive free attendance. Please call 740-345-0821 to RSVP.
