E.J. and Barb Franks are an example of how the Licking County Aging Program relies on its volunteers. They are our “house band.” They perform for seniors during Monday and Friday lunches at Heritage Hall Senior Center and in other venues throughout the community. They bring smiles wherever they go. On Saturday, Sept. 8 at 5 p.m., E.J. and Barb will host a salute to veterans music show and dinner. Tickets are $8. The dinner, served by LCAP, will be a buffet of chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, salad, rolls, beverages and dessert. E.J. and Barb will be here on Mondays and Fridays to sell tickets from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and on Tuesdays from 2 to 5 p.m. (That’s when they have band practice!) The musical show will include patriotic songs and performances. There also will be some dancing!
