News about Heritage Hall Senior Center is making its way around Central Ohio. We have had many seniors and others come in and ask for tours. We always welcome new friends to tell them about the new center, but also our services. The recent edition of Chair Volleyball attracted just under 20 people, one of its largest crowds. It is a fun event held every Tuesday morning at 10. Seniors play volleyball from chairs and get some great exercise. Our traditional ice cream social is coming up from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13. It will be on the lawn to the east of the building. We will have four hours of entertainment, all free, from Dan Yingling, J.&J.’s All-Country Band and musician Phyllis E. Laine. We will have those delicious pork tenderloin sandwiches, plenty of ice cream sold by the Licking Valley Lions and some homemade baked goods sold by the Madison Grange. There is no charge for admission. It has been an ambitious summer at the Licking County Aging Program with the big move from Zerger Hall Senior Center to Heritage Hall. We thank you for your patience and look forward to a busy September here at our new home. Have a great weekend. The old LCAP Blogger is taking a well-deserved vacation and we will see you after Labor Day.
